Look my animals!
Did you know I have two cats? Well now you do!
I grew up around them, and except for the few months at a time that I'm away from home, I've never been without cats.
My childhood cat did pass away at age 22 when I was 14 (RIP Spot, you were the beefiest little girl I've seen in my life),
but we got Paula soon after that.
No idea how old she actually is, but from how frail she's getting, shes probably over 14 by now.
Four years ago we got Lilith, she had been sick with worms, so she had to be taken away from the farm she was born on.
When we got her, she was less than a year old, and she really latched onto me from the start.
She follows me everywhere, watches anything I do, sleeps next to me at night, and even comes running when I whistle.
Paula and Lili don't get along to well unfortunately, mostly because of Lili's lack of parent/sibling contact as a kitten.
She's left socially stunted, so she doesn't pick up on cat body language, and prefers being around people.
But most of the time they get along relatively well.
They are my family's cats, so whenever I travel I do leave them for months at a time, but they always love me the same when I come back!
It may be good to mention that I do like dogs a lot as well, and I may someday update this page once I get one.
